Pueblo, Colorado woman Megan Jackson has been missing for nearly two months, and her loved ones are fearing the worst. Could their fears be justified? Megan Jackson was last seen around August 23, 2017. According to the NamUs report on her case, the 20-year-old Colorado woman has ceased all social media activity, which is unusual for her. She is known to frequently use social media, but has gone silent since she was last seen nearly two months ago. This is always a concerning element in missing persons' cases, because it clearly indicates that the missing person could be somehow unable to post. This inability to use social media could be for a number of reasons -- none of them positive.

The Canon City Daily Record reports that Megan Jackson is also currently being sought by police, due to failing to check-in on her probation requirements. Her mother has expressed disappointment in this detail being made public, and believes that it's taking focus away from finding her. On the contrary, I believe this indicates that she may not be missing voluntarily, and it's something that detectives should indeed be considering. If she has not been on social media, and hasn't checked in with her probation officer, it's likely she could either be in danger -- or worse.

Megan Jackson is not the only woman missing from the Pueblo, Colorado area. In October 2012, a 19-year-old woman named Kara Nichols vanished from Colorado Springs. The aspiring model claimed that she was going to attend a gig, but never returned. Come to find out, the Colorado woman had gotten involved in prostitution, which may have played a role in her disappearance. It has been over five years since anyone has seen or heard from Kara Nichols, but her case remains one of high interest in Colorado. Could criminal elements in this region be to blame for multiple disappearances of young women?
