What happened to Alexis Scott?

Where is Alexis Scott? Authorities in Peoria County, Illinois have been searching for the missing 20-year-old woman for nearly three weeks, but little information exists in her case. The circumstances surrounding this woman's disappearance are suspicious, but with such little information it's impossible to speculate on what may have happened to her.

Police say that she was last seen around Sept. 23rd, at a house party on Richmond Ave, in Peoria. The Illinois woman was reportedly seen in the early morning hours, but a so-called witness claims that she wandered away from the home on foot. According to the missing 20-year-old's NamUs report, the authenticity of this witness's claims have yet to be confirmed.

The Peoria Journal Star reports that Alexis Scott was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, and light colored jeans. Her hair was pulled up in a ponytail at the time of her disappearance. She is described as an African-American female, standing at approximately 5'1" and 140 lbs. Photos are being shared of this missing woman in hopes of locating her, as investigators are asking for help from the public.
