Candi Brown was missing for approximately eight months before her remains were located on May 3, 2013 -- and it was over a month before her remains were positively confirmed as being her. Now it's time for answers in how she died, and how she wound up in the area of County Line Road and Chandler Road in LaPorte Co., Mich.
The match was reportedly made through DNA comparison, which brings an official end to the search for the missing woman. But what happened to her? This is truly a mysterious case that didn't get as much coverage as it deserved -- and now that her body was recovered and confirmed, will there finally be more attention? More importantly: How did this woman die?
Candi Brown was also known as Candi Morris and was last seen just after 1:00 a.m., Aug. 25, 2012. The 29-year-old woman's car was later found abandoned at a bar named "Three Sheets Bar," but aside from that there aren't many known details -- at least not easily researched ones. It's impossible for me to speculate on this case because of the lack of details and the very little coverage I've read on it, but it just seems likely that this woman was murdered. Hopefully investigators can find some answers in this case, and publicize them.
