An Amber Alert has been issued for a teenage girl, whom authorities believe was abducted from a Walgreens store in Beckley, West Virginia. WCHSTV News reports that 16-year-old Jaddah Lashay Rodgers is believed to be in "extreme danger."
Police say the 16-year-old girl was presumably abducted at around 6:00 p.m., Wednesday night. The young girl is described as a black female, standing at around 5'4", and around 115 lbs. She has long black hair and brown eyes. When she was last seen on Wednesday evening, she was wearing a pair of denim jeans and a gray hooded sweatshirt. Her hair was reportedly braided.
Police believe that the 15-year-old girl could be in the company of a 20-year-old man. Lawrence Asbury is described as a white male, who is possibly driving a 1995 two-door Chevy Blazer, red, with West Virginia plates reading 522359. If you see this vehicle, please do not hesitate to call 911.
