Jessica Heeringa remains missing as of May 1, 2013 but I have compiled the following collection of maps and photos to be used in the ongoing analysis of this case. This particular post is going to focus on registered sex offenders in Norton Shores -- of which there are at least 30. I want to also draw attention to the layout of the land surrounding the Exxon station where Jessica was reportedly abducted. This case is continually developing and very quickly at that, so it's important to compile and analyze as much as we can to lend toward finding this missing woman.
First of all, I plugged the address of the Exxon station into the Mipsor.state.mi.us website to search sex offenders surrounding the address. It returned numerous results -- at least 30 -- some of which violent offenders. Many of these offenders could possibly fit the description given by the witness who helped create the composite sketch of a suspect. At least one of them lives on the same street as the Exxon station.
The following photos are of the layout of the land. I want you to take note of the bodies of water near the Exxon station. I know it's far too early (in the minds of some) to consider murder, but it's time for investigators to use scent dogs and comb over the area. These bodies of water appear to be retention ponds or something similar. There could be clues in the water -- even if not the young woman's body. The station is in a somewhat rural area, even though there are businesses nearby. The area could be dark and desolate in the late night areas, making it easy for a predator to stalk an employee of any of the isolated businesses in the area. (click photos to enlarge)
I am not going to put any one particular sex offender on blast in this post, so instead I included a screenshot of the several RSOs (registered sex offenders) in the Norton Shores area. As I pointed out before, at least one of these men have an address on the same street as the Exxon station where Jessica Heeringa was kidnapped. Please click the photos to enlarge. If you wish to know more about each offender google their names!
